Inspired by the image in the background of Vincet Van Gogh’s Self-Portrait with Bandaged Ear painted in 1889. As I understand it he removed his ear as reparations for threating his friend Paul Gauguin with a razorblade during an arguement. Sounds pretty metal. Made me think of the blessed eunuchs for they will inherit the kingdom of heaven. Cutting off your own body parts in a state of mania.
